Job summary

Artisan Field, Inc. seeks a MineStar Controller specialist to support Command for Hauling development and validation, and related autonomous testing activities. You will work with hardware and software installation, QA/QC frameworks, and coordinate with software developers.

The role requires hands-on testing experience, strong problem solving, Linux usage, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced mining tech environment. On-site work in a dry, industrial setting is expected.

Qualifications

• In lieu of a degree: experience in tester development of control systems, vehicles, engines, or autonomy technologies
• 5–7 years of experience; 3 years with a Master’s degree
• Internships count as job experience; hands-on project work accepted

Responsibilities

• Becoming a trusted advisor for development teams through internal and external collaboration
• Support hardware and software installation and configuration via QA/QC processes
• Measure, benchmark, and report MineStar Command System performance and suggest improvements
• Create test plans, procedures, and validation reports for product development and release readiness
• Validate MineStar functionality across proving grounds
• Investigate, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document complex software and system issues
• Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Support integration testing involving onboard machines, MineStar apps, network infrastructure, and supporting technologies
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations to improve quality and reliability
