A growing SaaS startup is looking for Systems Engineers to manage and automate their infrastructure of around 400 bare-metal servers. The ideal candidate will have systems design expertise and 5 years of relevant experience. This position offers a competitive base salary between $160,000 and $275,000 and various benefits including equity and unlimited PTO.

Our client is a fast-growing SaaS startup that's rebuilding Continuous Integration from the ground up. Backed by top-tier investors and already trusted by hundreds of engineering teams, their platform offers a high-performance alternative to traditional CI runners, built on bare-metal infrastructure, instant micro-VMs, and ultra-fast caching. The result? Pipeline speeds up to 2x faster, Docker builds up to 40x faster, and significant cost savings. With a strong engineering culture and big growth plans, they’re redefining what modern CI can be. They have ~800 trusted customers using their product.

They're about to announce their Series A funding of $13.5m and are tracking at £4m revenue to date. This client has three Co-founders who are all ex-Systems Engineers at notable companies and bring a wealth of experience - you'll be able to learn from this wealth of experience!

They're looking for x3 Systems Engineers to come in a take control of their estate, which is entirely on-prem with around 400 bare metal servers. You'll be responsible for automating everything, managing the estate and making the machines more performant, which'll ultimately benefit their customers.

Key Requirements:

• Systems expertise - designing and building a system!
• 5 years of experience
• Go / Rust / C / C
• Start-up experience/willingness to work for a start-up
• ANY automation tools, e.g., Puppet / Chef / Ansible
• Happy with x5 days a week in Midtown New York

The Package:

• $160,000 - $220,000 base (can flex up to $275,000 for the right person)
