Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks a sensor systems algorithm engineer to develop and deploy image processing, computer vision, ML, and control algorithms for embedded, man-portable systems. You will fuse multi-modal sensor inputs and work with embedded software teams to realize algorithms on real hardware.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Imaging Science with 3+ years in embedded algorithm development, with imaging or unmanned systems experience; Kalman

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or imaging science.
• Experience with imaging, target location, or unmanned systems; Kalman filtering and error modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and control algorithms that fuse multi-modal sensor inputs, including imagers, IMUs, and off-product intelligence, to make Soldier systems smarter and more intuitive.
• Interface with software engineers, supplying the requirements and design documentation needed to realize those algorithms in embedded architectures.
• Identify risks and critical path across the program, build and execute mitigation plans, and report status internally to management and technical stakeholders and externally to the customer.
• Own data collection, processing, and analysis end-to-end, plus hands-on system integration and testing.

Job description

In this role, you are responsible for developing algorithms to process, fuse, and manipulate various sensor data and partnering with embedded software developers to integrate into man-portable, battery-powered systems.

• Design, test, and deploy image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and control algorithms that fuse multi-modal sensor inputs, including imagers, IMUs, and off-product intelligence, to make Soldier systems smarter and more intuitive.
• Interface with software engineers, supplying the requirements and design documentation needed to realize those algorithms in embedded architectures.
• Identify risks and critical path across the program, build and execute mitigation plans, and report status internally to management and technical stakeholders and externally to the customer.
• Own data collection, processing, and analysis end-to-end, plus hands-on system integration and testing.

Requirements to apply:

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Imaging Science with 3+ years developing algorithms for controls, image processing, or data filtering on embedded systems, and MATLAB.
• Imaging, target location, or unmanned systems experience; Kalman filtering and statistical error modeling are all preferred.
