Job summary

NR Consulting in Irvine, CA seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead complex engineering programs, oversee technology integration, and ensure program success across customers and internal teams.

You will develop and decompose system requirements, drive MBSE practices (Cameo), conduct design reviews, and perform analyses and testing to validate performance.

The role requires aerospace background, strong communication, and the ability to mentor engineers while guiding cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Aerospace experience required.
• Thermal Systems experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 and applicable standards/regulations.
• Hands-on MBSE experience, preferably with Cameo.
• Strong requirements management, systems analysis, testing, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers and senior leadership.
• Ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams.
