Job summary

Wood Rodgers, based in Colorado, is hiring a roadway design engineer to join our Transportation Department. You will design roadway system improvements, prepare plans and cost estimates, and mentor entry level staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, a Colorado PE license, and at least 5 years of roadway design experience, with AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency and MUTCD knowledge. We offer a collaborative, value-driven culture and broad project variety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on roadway design projects.
• Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design related software.
• Experience using roadway design standards such as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.

Offers will be based on several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and location. Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
