Jobot is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a large-scale technology deployment in a customer-facing environment. The role focuses on system performance, operational support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and client engagement across Linux, Windows, and COTS apps.

The ideal candidate will have strong infrastructure and systems administration experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across Operations, Software Engineering, and QA teams. On-call rotation may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) and video management systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and communication issues.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and change control processes.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance across Linux, Windows, and COTS applications.
• Monitor and support containerized applications and infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams to test, validate, and deploy new products and enhancements.
• Deliver operational and technical training to end users and operations staff.
• Assess system performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements and technology enhancements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems during off-hours.

Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support a large-scale technology deployment in a customer-facing environment. This individual will serve as a key technical resource responsible for system performance, operational support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and client engagement. The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and systems administration experience with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset. This role requires someone who can independently manage priorities, solve complex technical issues, and work collaboratively across Operations, Software Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers by responding to operational questions, incidents, and technical issues.
• Support and maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) and video management systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and communication issues.

• Familiarity with video streaming technologies and protocols, including:

• Experience supporting mission-critical or 24x7 operational environments.
• Exposure to software deployment, testing, and release management processes.
