The System Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is the physician leader responsible for the clinical, operational, quality, academic, and strategic direction of Maternal-Fetal Medicine across Boston Medical Center Health System, including Boston Medical Center, BMC Brighton, and BMC South.

The System Division Director provides leadership for MFM physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary MFM team and is accountable for ensuring consistently high-quality, evidence-based, equitable maternal and fetal care across all sites. The Director will advance a systemwide vision for MFM that combines the capabilities of a tertiary academic medical center with strong community-based obstetric services, allowing patients to receive care close to home whenever appropriate while ensuring timely access and transfer to tertiary-level care when needed.

A central expectation of this position is the development of an integrated MFM program across Boston Medical Center Health System, with shared clinical standards, coordinated staffing and coverage, common approaches to quality and safety, and clear pathways for consultation, escalation, and maternal transfer among the three hospitals.
