Job summary

South Texas Health System is seeking a senior Risk Management leader to oversee daily risk activities and ensure integration of the TERM program across facilities. You will supervise staff and maintain ongoing reporting to executives and corporate risk management.

The role requires extensive healthcare risk management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and travel to their facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management required.
• CPRHM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) preferred.
• 5-8 years of management experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to plan, organize and utilize leadership skills to implement programs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to travel to other STHS facilities.
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Education / Licensure

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred or 8 to 10 years of experience in risk management in lieu of degree.
