The role focuses on developing and monitoring risk programs, regulatory compliance, and guiding teams to reduce risk. Ideal candidate has leadership experience in psychiatric settings and a commitment to quality and safety.

• Three years of clinical psychiatric experience with regulatory knowledge.

West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over four decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and included a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.

We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.

The Director, Risk Management is responsible for clinical identification, risk evaluation and coordination of corrective action related to risk issues and creating methods to avoid, eliminate and/or reduce risk situations associated with the provision of patient care and services.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Licensure and certification Required: RN License
• Experience Required: Three years of clinical experience in psychiatric setting or related field with specific knowledge in high-risk areas, Joint Commission, CMS, and other relevant state and federal regulations Experience may be substituted with education on a 1:1 basis.
