Summary: Oversees system-wide operations for patient registration and appointment scheduling, including all centralized and decentralized areas. Ensures consistency and quality of data, and compliance with all regulations that impact patient access, including HIPAA and EMTALA. Operates within JCAHO standards. Provides leadership for department managers, trainers, and registrars; collaborates with senior leadership in developing system wide policies and processes.
Education / Experience: Accredited undergraduate degree in Health Care management or related major; Minimum of 7-10 years Patient Access Management experience is required.
License / Certification: CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) certification preferred
