The Medical University of South Carolina Health system seeks a System Director of Clinical Pharmacy to lead clinical pharmacy across all MUSC Health sites. This executive will oversee Pharmacy and Therapeutics, residency programs, and collaboration with the CPO to drive patient care and system-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, staff development, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards to optimize patient access and outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a master’s degree in healthcare related field such as Healthcare Administration, MS or MBA is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of operational/clinical pharmacy management experience in specialty pharmacy environments, three (3) years of which as a direct supervisor or team leader.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and multiple disciplines; talent in the selection and mentoring of a high-quality, effective team; proven ability to lead change, organize teams, and delegate responsibility appropriately; proven ability to use data to drive performance improvement.
• Licensure: SC Pharmacist License or eligible for licensure within 6 months. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

• Provide operational oversight and act as primary liaison between clinical and ancillary service lines.
• Represent the CPO in work groups and committees as requested.
• Provide hands-on leadership and operational improvement subject matter expertise to division-wide projects and operational improvement teams.
• Ensure alignment to divisional and system operational plans and strategic priorities.
• Responsible for selecting, developing, and deploying staff to meet objectives.
• Demonstrate high influence and motivate others to align with the organization’s vision.
• Instill a culture of real-time feedback integrated with professional development.
