Job summary

Piedmont Clinic in Atlanta seeks a System Director of Infusion and Radiation Oncology Operations to lead enterprise-wide non-clinical workflows, optimize revenue cycle, and ensure seamless integration between hospital and physician networks.

You will guide patient access, insurance authorizations, and capital planning while partnering with pharmacy, IS, and administrative leaders to improve throughput and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of healthcare operations experience, including five years managing oncology service lines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational workflows to enhance customer experience and enterprise-wide efficiency for infusion and radiation oncology services.
• Execute operational strategies aligned with Piedmont Oncology's priorities, including expansion initiatives and partnerships.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for infusion and radiation oncology business operations.
• Serve as an internal consultant to drive standardization of business operations across entities.
• Ensure connectivity and alignment with physician enterprise and system counterparts.
• Partner with IS and technology teams to identify system integration and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Director to streamline end-to-end workflows across business and clinical operations.
• Work with revenue cycle and reimbursement teams to optimize charge capture and insurance authorization.
• Provide operational advisement and consensus-building support for enterprise initiatives.
• Mentor new oncology administrators to accelerate onboarding and understanding of system-wide priorities.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, financial sustainability, and patient access workflows.
• Advise on accreditation readiness and assist with accreditation processes.
• Oversee administrative integration of newly acquired infusion sites.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, revenue cycle, patient access, and administrative leaders to align strategies.
• Engage physician leaders to support enterprise goals and physician alignment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
