Job summary

Baptist Health Resource Center in Alabama is seeking an RN specialized in dialysis to plan, organize, implement and evaluate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments. The role coordinates, delegates, and provides direct nursing care for patients with a focus on teamwork and patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license with BLS, and ideally ACLS/PALS, with at least 1 year of nursing experience and a nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, Chemo, ONCC certifications may be required depending upon area assigned.

Summary

The RN - Dialysis shall be responsible to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments. This individual shall coordinate, delegate, and provide direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members, and all patient care team members. The RN is responsible for the general supervision and coordination of the activities of dialysis nursing personnel in order to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education/Experience

Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.

Licensure/Certification

Active RN licensure required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, Chemo, ONCC, etc.) may be required depending upon area assigned.
