We are constantly innovating in the ways we are automating and accelerating the delivery of packages which includes custom robotics, mechatronics, conveyance, supply chain optimization, machine learning, manipulation, image processing, and real-time data processing using distributed systems.

We are looking for a System Development Manager with a passion for creating a step function change in an established domain by leveraging controls software development skills. You will guide a team of talented engineers to transform the way we develop and integrate controls applications for MHE systems within our global network of advanced warehouses. You and your team will be working on all the aspects of the development cycle including scoping, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of your product. This is a unique opportunity to define real time and deterministic edge-based solutions where the cloud meets the real world in the heart of our fulfillment centers. The ideal candidate will enjoy working at multiple layers of the stack from edge compute solutions and cloud-based solutions to interface with and manage fleets of real-world devices.

Key job responsibilities
  • Mentor a team of software and system development engineers
  • Foster a high-performing team environment, providing guidance and assistance to your engineers to help them achieve their full potential
  • Work closely with product management and stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals

  • Drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies within your team, promoting continuous improvement and innovation
  • Work effectively with product managers, designers, QA testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of features
