Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC's Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) designs, secures, and maintains advanced infrastructure and devices across Amazon's global network. You will contribute to software features used by thousands of field technicians and engineers in fulfillment and logistics environments.

A Bachelor's degree and experience with AWS, modern programming languages, and Agile practices are required, with opportunities to grow through collaboration across diverse teams and locations.

Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) at Amazon is at the forefront of creating, securing, and maintaining advanced technical infrastructure and devices. These innovations span across Amazon's diverse landscape, including Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, Logistics, Specialty Fulfillment, Air, and Pharmacy sectors. Key job responsibilities

You design and deliver technology solutions which solve difficult business problems. You identify and solve ambiguous problems, architectural deficiencies, or areas where your team's systems hinder the success or innovation of other teams.

A day in the life

• Work closely with Product Management to break down feature requirements into software deliverables
• Design, Develop and maintain secure and performant software features and systems for Operations and Operations IT customers
• Actively participate in software and system design reviews
• Participate in the team on-call rotation where you will triage, communicate status, elevate, and remediate critical issues quickly

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience building services using AWS products
• Experience utilizing AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience with distributed systems at scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSU). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
