Job summary

Infinity Systems Engineering in Colorado Springs is seeking a System Configuration Lead to oversee the lifecycle of IT systems and configurations. You will be the central authority for tracking assets and enforcing configuration standards in a small team.

The ideal candidate ensures all hardware, software, and documentation are baseline-defined and integrated. This role requires self-motivation, strong analytical skills, and willingness to handle diverse tasks with occasional on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in configuration management or IT infrastructure.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD and software automation deployment tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration management policies and procedures.
• Oversee data consolidation and tracking of configuration items, hardware, and software versions.
• Manage change control, documenting, testing, and authorizing changes.
• Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Support release management and automate build/deployment strategies.
