Job summary

Community Health Choice in Houston, TX is seeking a Configuration/Support Specialist to manage QNXT and NetworX software for a major health plan. You will maintain performance, lead staff, and collaborate with Leadership to implement Health Plan needs.

You will guide the IS Application Support/Configuration Team, document changes, ensure testing, and maintain audit controls while aligning with state and federal regulations. A hybrid work setup is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related area.
• 4 years of related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• 3 years in configuration or application support experience.
• QNXT experience is required.
• Texas Medicaid knowledge is highly preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year of informal leadership, team lead or project lead experience.
• PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads the support and development of system/applications as assigned. Develops SOPs for the IS Application Support/Configuration Team and ensures documentation and testing for changes.
• Acts as a contact for external areas to understand business needs, respond to inquiries, investigate issues, and educate on Health Plan rules.
• Monitors issues and coordinates resolutions within timeframes; analyzes root causes and prevents recurrence.
• Provides support to Project Management Office for major implementation projects and helps organize project teams.
• Contributes to departmental goals and process improvements as assigned.
