Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System seeks an accomplished Chief Nursing Executive to provide executive leadership for nursing services across its hospitals in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Coral Springs. The role directs strategic direction, quality, workforce, and financial stewardship, reporting to the System Chief Operating Officer as the senior nursing executive.

The role partners with COOs, CMOs, physicians, and executives to maintain exceptional patient care, nursing excellence, and staff

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration or equivalent.
• BSN required; RN licensure in Florida or multi-state compact.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for nursing services across the health system.
• Oversee operational, clinical, quality, workforce and financial performance.
• Serve on senior leadership and act as advocate for nursing to the Board.
