The newly unified Billings Clinic – Logan Health system is seeking a System Chief Compliance Officer (SCCO) to design and lead a single, integrated compliance program that brings together two well-established healthcare compliance departments into one unified structure.

This is a rare opportunity to shape every aspect of a modern, enterprise-wide compliance strategy—impacting care delivery across nine hospitals, more than 20 regional partnerships, and a population of over 600,000 people.

What we’re looking for:

• A minimum of10 years of progressive executive leadershipin healthcare compliance and privacy
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field required (Master’s or JD strongly preferred).
• Experience must be within alarge hospital or hospital system
• CHC or CHPS certification required
• A proven record of successfully leading integration, change, and strategic initiatives

Where you’ll live and lead:

This position may be based in either Billings, Montana or Kalispell, Montana.

• Billings , Montana’s largest city with a strong medical community and easy access to recreation
• Kalispell , nestled in the Flathead Valley with mountains, lakes, and Glacier National Park at your doorstep

What You'll Lead:

• Unify and build a comprehensive compliance department, aligning processes, people, and policies into one integrated system.
• Design and lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of an enterprise-wide compliance program grounded in transparency, accountability, and effectiveness.
• Advise the system Board and executive leadership with clarity and vision on risk mitigation, education, audits, and legal regulations.
• Direct investigations, HIPAA oversight, and risk assessments , ensuring adherence to both internal standards and external requirements.
• Foster a culture of collaboration , bringing together diverse teams and empowering them under a shared mission of integrity and excellence.
