Job summary

NKC Health is seeking an experienced healthcare accounting professional to maintain the integrity of general ledgers and support the Accounting Department's effectiveness.

The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards and experience in hospital or medical group accounting. Bachelor's in Accounting is required, with CPA preferred or a Master's in related field as substitute.

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the System Controller, maintains the integrity of the Organization's general ledgers and aids in the overall effectiveness of the Accounting Department.

EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of healthcare accounting experience.


• Hospital and/or Medical Group/Physician accounting experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS

• Computer skills required,


• Advanced working knowledge of Excel.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.

OTHER

Bachelor's degree plus CPA preferred, but a Master's degree in related field is accepted in lieu of CPA.

LICENSE/CERT

Preferred: CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
