Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience working on datacenter systems.
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and server design, including mechanical, power, and thermal aspects.
  • Hands on experience with hard problems that span software and hardware.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven record to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields (or equivalent). Masters preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture for datacenter systems from chip to datacenter.
  • Collaborate with silicon, software, networking, operations teams to define and build future NVIDIA products.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to translate customer needs into design inputs.
  • Analyze performance, power, and cost to inform architectural tradeoffs.
  • Lead systems from concept through large production deployments.

What you’ll be doing
  • Drive architecture for datacenter systems considering everything from the chip to the full datacenter
  • Work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to define & build future NVIDIA products
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to understand customer needs, translate them into design inputs and align on consistent strategies
  • Analyze performance, power, and cost of different solutions to understand architectural tradeoffs and align design decisions
  • Work across engineering and operations teams to define and implement systems from concept through large production deployments
What we need to see
  • 12+ years of experience working on datacenter systems
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and design of servers including mechanical, power, and thermal and the interaction between server architecture and at-scale datacenter deployment
  • Hands on experience with hard problems that span software and hardware
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven record to lead multi-disciplinary teams
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • A Masters degree is preferred
Ways to stand out from the crowd
  • Experience with large projects involving co-development of custom processors or accelerators, systems, and software
  • Familiarity with GPU compute and NVIDIA networking
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations processes
  • Experience with cloud server deployments & operation

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
