Job summary

AMD is seeking a dynamic System Applications Engineer to join the Data Center Ecosystem and Applications Engineering team in Austin, TX. You will support the server IHV partner network and enable joint reference architectures with AMD partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering SMEs to validate, optimize, and deliver silicon-enabled solutions for data center customers, including authoring technical collateral and driving demos and proofs of concept.

Qualifications

Required: strong server hardware knowledge and data-center focus.
Experience with PCIe, CXL, memory hardware technologies is preferred.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners.

Responsibilities

Enable validation and performance optimization of AMD server CPUs with partner products.
Drive closure of open technical issues leveraging partner and AMD SMEs.
Drive long-term technical feature alignment between AMD server and partner products.
Develop system-level solutions and technical value propositions for joint solutions.
Author technical collateral with partners (app notes, tuning guides, whitepapers).
Create joint partner demos and proofs of concept; develop benchmarking plans.
Develop automation tools and AI-assisted debugging solutions; evangelize AMD's value.
