Job summary

Hershey seeks a Systems Analyst for Student Health Services to support the Director, Student Health Systems and collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders. You will develop and modify clinical and business applications, ensure regulatory compliance, and collect and report healthcare data.

The role requires documenting processes and providing end-user training, with on-call emergency support year-round in an in-person setting at Hershey, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Clinical Informatics, RN or similar major.
• 3+ years of application support experience in Oracle Cerner Millennium (SYNCare), Dentrix, and Dolphin.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL.
• Proficiency in SYNCare (Oracle Cerner Millennium) reporting and SSSR reporting.
• Knowledge of Qvera and HL/7 (ADT) interface protocols.
• Healthcare terminology knowledge from medical/health-related fields.
• Experience with system delivery of healthcare and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and provide timely end-user support.
• Strong documentation and training material development.
• Excellent verbal, public speaking and technical writing skills.

MHS is currently seeking a Student Health Services Systems Analyst to provide support to the Director, Student Health Systems, working closely with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to develop and modify clinical and business applications in the healthcare environment. The Health Systems Analyst will ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards and will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting healthcare data. The role participates in an on-call rotation, providing emergency technical support 7-day-a-week, year-round.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and provide timely, effective, and professional end-user support.
• Ability to write and maintain documentation regarding application use and maintain training materials.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and web form development.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to network, influence, collaborate and pro-actively communicate.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal/public speaking, and technical writing.
• Demonstrated high degree of integrity; eager to actively engage with students.
