Job summary

Ctrl+ is seeking a System Administrator (SA) 3 to own mission-critical IT systems in Columbia. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure, supporting client/server/storage/network and mobile devices.

The role emphasizes Tier 3 troubleshooting and change control, with hands-on experience in Linux/Unix, Ceph storage, and Kubernetes orchestration, plus automation tools like Puppet/Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT system infrastructure and all related processes.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Escalate and communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers.
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problem resolution process from start to finish.
• Oversee change control processes.

System Administrator (SA) 3

Are you ready to take ownership of mission-critical IT systems and make a real impact? We're looking for a skilled System Administrator (SA) 3 to join our team in Columbia providing hands-on support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems that keep our clients' operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Manage IT system infrastructure and all related processes
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices
• Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
• Escalate and communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problem resolution process from start to finish
• Work with Container Technology, including:
• Administering large software deployments on LINUX/UNIX systems
• Administering clustered storage solutions (e.g., storage appliances, Ceph)
• Managing Kubernetes-orchestrated containers
• Using system configuration management software (e.g., Puppet, Ansible)
• Overseeing change control processes

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience
