Job summary

BCyber SA seeks a skilled Datacenter Administrator to manage complex systems including VMWare, Proxmox, and mixed physical/virtual servers. You will also oversee virtual PBXs and related probes and VPN servers.

Strong Linux/Unix knowledge, networking basics, and scripting experience are essential. Remote work 60% with offices in Milan and Lugano.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of networking basics and OS installation.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix based systems.
• Shell scripting (Bash), Perl, Python, Corosync, PHP, HAProxy, SQL/NoSQL DBs preferred.
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS is welcome but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Datacenter systems (VMWare, Proxmox, clusters, physical/virtual servers).
• Manage virtual PBXs and probes, VPNs, sniffers, and related servers.
• Maintain and monitor infrastructure stability and performance.

• Manage complex Datacenter systems such as VMWare, Promox, custom clusters, physical and / or virtual servers.
• Manage virtual PBXs
• Management of probes, vpn servers, sniffers, and other physical and virtual servers.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of the basics of networking, installation of operating systems, cabling.
• Good knowledge of Linux / Unix based operating systems.
• Preferred qualifications are knowledge of Shell scripting (Bash), perl, python, corosync, php, haproxy, sql and relational and / or noSQL DBs.
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS is welcome but not mandatory.

Languages

• Italian and English working proficiency, optional but French and German are welcome.
