Job summary

ARSIEM, based in Maryland, is seeking a System Administrator 2 to support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and the configuration of IT systems, ensuring the operational integrity of both UNIX and Windows systems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in systems administration and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $145,000 annually.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher is required.
• Experience in IT systems implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
