Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator II in Tallahassee to maintain Windows servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and M365/Azure. The role focuses on ensuring system availability, security, and performance in a 100% on-site environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Windows enterprise experience, familiarity with VMware, backups, and patching, plus strong storage and networking knowledge. This position is a Temp-to-Hire, Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 3-5 years of Windows enterprise systems administration experience.
• Experience with VMware, backups, server monitoring, and patching.
• Strong understanding of storage, networking, and security.
• Azure and storage experience strongly preferred; Tintri or NetApp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Support VMware virtualization, server provisioning, patching, upgrades, and monitoring
• Support Microsoft 365/Azure environments and identity services
• Troubleshoot system incidents, outages, and performance issues

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Pay: $27.83-$43.15/ph, depending on experience

Work Location: 100% Onsite – NOT a remote position

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator II to support enterprise infrastructure operations. This position is responsible for maintaining Windows server environments, virtualization platforms, storage, backups, Microsoft 365 services, and system availability.

Responsibilities:
