Job summary

JT4, LLC headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, provides engineering and technical support to western test ranges under a federal contract. This Systems Administrator I will manage Windows Server environments, handle network planning, and maintain DM/CM procedures while coordinating with teams on upgrades and documentation.

Responsibilities include configuring servers, maintaining security, training staff, and ensuring software/hardware compatibility.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training.
• Three years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics and/or related areas of expertise.
• Must possess a basic knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
• Must have specific experience in the use of MS window server environments and various computer --aided design (CAD), database, MS Office and Web enabled applications
• Must be capable of updating or repairing computer systems
• Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
• Must possess valid, state-issued driver's license

Responsibilities

• Operates MS Windows Server software, including system security, access, configuration and backups.
• Specify LAN requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware, ensure system meets specs.
• Organizes directory structure and trains staff in department use.
• Document Management System, related databases and CM/DM release procedures.
• Maintains and designs functional, visually esthetic web pages.
• Specifies hardware requirements and maintains CA/CRL tracking logs.
• Serves as POC for problem reporting and monitoring yearly support contracts.
• Recommends future hardware/software improvements and coordinates upgrades across environments.
• Provides operational status as required.
• Follows established policies and uses SME knowledge to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision.
