Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Floresville, Texas is seeking a System Administrator I to oversee workstations, servers, printers, switches, and the healthcare IT environment. You will install hardware and software, troubleshoot, provide training, contribute to budgeting for IT projects, and ensure reliable operation of EMR/Meditech systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network IT experience required.
• Must be on call.
• EMR/Meditech Client Server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the technical and operational direction of all network and end-user projects.
• Advise and assist with budgeting for IT projects and infrastructure needs.
• Install hardware and software, configure workstations, printers, and servers on user sites.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for system hardware and software issues.
• Instruct users and provide updates/status to management and users.

Summary The System Administrator I will report directly to the IS Manager. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the structure and implementation of workstations, network printers, servers and switches. The above duties will include providing assistance to managers, physicians, staff and other business partners in the maintenance of information systems and assist in the implementation of new technologies that support the hospitals strategic plan. Telecommunication support, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems is also a requirement. Must be able to be on call Additional duties assigned as necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
