Job description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. Position Description

At Enjet Aero, we rely on our IT systems to support our business objectives. We seek an experienced systems administrator eager to grow their skills across multiple locations. The successful candidate will protect critical information, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and contribute to our IT strategy. You will be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership of your responsibilities. Objectives
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Own projects, solutions, and responsibilities within larger business initiatives.
  • Handle critical IT tasks that provide a competitive advantage.
  • Implement analytics to enable smarter business processes.
  • Ensure dependable IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to communicate project progress.
Daily & Monthly Responsibilities
  • Perform server administration, including user management, security permissions, group policies, print services, and resource monitoring.
  • Monitor datacenter health and respond to hardware issues; assist in building and maintaining servers.
  • Manage internal infrastructure, including computers, network devices, security updates, and cloud solutions.
  • Provide technical support to end users and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct routine system audits and backups.
  • Travel to other locations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties related to information systems as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with operating systems, enterprise backup, system monitoring, active directories, virtualization, and security systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of networking principles.

This position is based in Hartford, Connecticut, and requires in-person presence at our facilities.
