Job Title: System Administrator

Location: Manassas, VA

Responsibilities:

1. Test, configure, build, and maintain on-prem RHEL platform automation in line with requirements.
2. Implement and operate solutions collaboratively with your team.
3. Drive solutions from conceptualization to deployment, including design, development, testing, and support.
4. Deploy infrastructure and software following change management processes.
5. Provide Level 2 operational support for RHEL infrastructure components.
6. Collaborate with internal and external customers following DevOps/Agile methodologies.
7. Track service progress and ensure continuous improvement.
8. Automate processes, educate team members, and share knowledge clearly.
9. Work in an office-first hybrid model.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting large enterprise RHEL platforms.
• Strong Linux knowledge, including RHEL, OS commands, disk management, and kernel.
• Good networking knowledge, especially TCP/IP.
• Experience deploying OS and applications using automation tools like Ansible.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades using Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
• Proficient in shell scripting and Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools like Cloudbees.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GIT or Bitbucket.
• VMware experience, including templates, snapshots, and VM management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like vRA/vRO.
