Tyto Athene is searching for a mid-level System Administrator to work with physical security professionals to manage and maintain the next evolution of physical security access control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Works with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11
• Manages Group Policy Objects
• Configure DNS
• Create and Managing Users and Groups
• Manage File Shares
• Monitor System Performance
• Manage Disks and Disk Storage
• Back Up and Restoring Data
• Securing Windows Systems
• Troubleshooting Windows Systems
• Setup and manage MS Cluster and services
• Works with Microsoft SQL server 2019/2022
• Create and manage databases for use with Lenel OnGuard
• Create and maintain maintenance plans
• Setup and maintain database backups
• Able to troubleshoot connection issues
• Works with HPE SimpliVity
• Works with VMWare ESXi 7.0, 8.0 and vCenter Server
• Install and configure Guest virtual machines
• Monitor overall VM environment
• Works With Lenel OnGuard Enterprise, all aspects
• Works with Cisco switches and firewall
• Installation of access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection equipment in accordance with plans, specifications, and detailed instructions, or reinstalling repaired or modified equipment.
• Assist with site surveys.
• Test access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection devices to verify proper operation.
• Test backup battery systems.
• Review system and error logs for any problem indications.
• Repair of access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection devices to include detecting and diagnosing malfunctions, tearing down equipment, repairing or replacing parts or components, or aligning, calibrating and testing the modified or repaired equipment.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment and systems in maximum operating condition.
• Fault isolation, repair, and testing of complex level problems.
• Proper selection and use of General-Purpose Electronic Test Equipment for fault isolation and/or equipment repairs.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel for installation and maintenance activity.

Required:

• Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and a minimum seven (7) years’ experience in the testing and support of DoD network systems, including experience in OS patch management. 10 years of experience in the design, installation, testing, and support of FCC/C10F or DoD networks to include patch management.
• Knowledge and understanding of Access Control equipment/system design, evaluation, testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge and understanding of Intrusion Detection equipment/systems design, evaluation, testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge and understanding of Video Surveillance and Video Recording equipment/systems design, evaluation, testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Valid passport for international travel
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Current certification of any listed is a plus: Lenel, Axis, Milestone, Bosch, Pelco, Interlogix, DMP, and FLIR.

Clearance:

• Active TS clearance required.
• Must be capable of passing a CI polygraph.
