Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate.
• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate.
• Previous residential, corporate or concierge security experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• C-Cure proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors.
• Monitor building access points and stay aware of building activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems.
• Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly.
• Maintain shift logs and incident reports.
• Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required.
• Manage building and concierge keys with proper documentation.
• Identify suspicious activity and report safety hazards or policy violations.
• Coordinate with building management and staff to support daily operations.
• Enforce building policies while staying calm and professional.
• Ensure clear communication during shift transitions for continuity.
