Role Overview:

A Syrup Technician is responsible for receiving and storing concentrate and sweetener, batching syrups, monitoring syrup flow, sanitation, and occasional validation and testing of raw materials.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12pm - 8:30pm (Monday - Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety practices and report hazards
• Batch syrup according to recipes
• Clean and sanitize the syrup room and equipment
• Analyze incoming, in-process, and finished materials
• Manage inventory of concentrates and raw materials
• Use recipe management systems
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) after certification
• Adhere to quality, environmental, safety, and food safety policies
• Maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years laboratory technician experience
• 1+ years production or manufacturing experience, or mixing and batching in food/beverage industry (preferred)
• Familiarity with lab safety and hazardous materials handling
• Ability to lift 65 pounds
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Attention to detail and accuracy
