Role of a Mixing Technician:

A Syrup Technician is responsible for receiving and storing concentrates and sweeteners, batching syrups according to detailed instructions, monitoring syrup flow to production lines, and maintaining sanitation within the Syrup Room. Occasionally, validation and testing of inbound raw materials are required.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12pm - 8:30pm (Mon - Fri, OT and weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

1. Uphold all safety practices and report hazards
2. Batch syrup as per CCNA recipe
3. Clean and sanitize the syrup room and equipment
4. Perform analysis of incoming, in-process, and finished materials
5. Manage concentrate and raw material inventories
6. Utilize recipe management computer system
7. Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)
8. Follow all work instructions and policies related to Quality, Environmental, Safety & Food Safety
9. Support ISO/GFSI compliance, FDA/USDA requirements, and Food Safety & Quality programs
10. Maintain accurate documentation

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years Lab technician experience
• 1+ years Production or manufacturing experience, or mixing and batching in the food/beverage industry (preferred)
• Familiarity with lab safety, handling hazardous materials, ability to lift 65 pounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Attention to detail and accuracy
