Job Description:

The Syrup Technician is responsible for receiving and storing concentrate and sweetener, batching syrups according to detailed instructions, monitoring syrup flow to production lines, and maintaining sanitation within the Syrup Room and equipment. Occasionally, validation and testing of inbound raw materials are required.

Schedule: 6am - 4:30pm (Sunday - Wednesday, with overtime and weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Uphold all safety practices and report hazards
• Batch syrups as per CCNA recipe
• Clean and sanitize the syrup room and equipment following SSOPs
• Analyze incoming, in-process, and finished materials
• Monitor and report inventory levels
• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks/Forklifts
• Follow quality, environmental, safety, and food safety policies
• Maintain accurate documentation

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of lab technician experience
• Or 1+ years of production/manufacturing experience
• Or 1+ years of mixing and batching experience in the food or beverage industry (preferred)
• Knowledge of lab safety, handling hazardous materials, ability to lift 65 pounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
