Job summary

LMCU is seeking a Symitar Programmer II in Grand Rapids to develop and maintain Symitar core processing applications. You will design, implement, and deploy solutions that meet credit union needs, working independently or with a team.

You will guide junior developers, analyze requirements, and ensure code quality while collaborating with stakeholders. A solid SDLC background and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Symitar programming and development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in Symitar PowerOn and HTML/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement Symitar PowerOn solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system enhancements.

About this position:

The Symitar Programmer II role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Symitar core processing applications and related software systems. This role will work independently or as part of a team to design, develop, and deploy solutions that meet the business requirements of the credit union in using Symitar.
