Job summary

GenServe, LLC is a leading independent provider of scheduled and emergency power generator maintenance, repair, and sales. The Switchgear Specialist will support field and manufacturing wiring projects and work closely with the SI Director of Operations to interpret drawings and execute retrofit tasks.

The role emphasizes hands-on wiring, field/shop execution, and adherence to safety standards, with growth opportunities in a nationwide service platform.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and groupings.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), generator, and switchgear operation.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide wiring support for field and manufacturing operations.
• Assist the Field Engineer with interpreting drawings and field/shop wiring tasks.
• Execute smaller retrofit projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Ensure work meets safety standards and project specifications.
