Job summary

Back To Health Medical Ctr in Miami seeks a courteous switchboard operator to manage incoming calls, take messages, and relay information promptly in a patient-focused environment.

You will follow emergency procedures, remain calm under pressure, use paging and flash systems, and support the supervisor with assigned tasks and information flow. Experience with codes, drills, and knowing who to call is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To operate the switchboard in a kind and courteous way & in a timely manner.
• Take messages and deliver to proper place as quickly as possible
• Understand all emergency procedures including codes, Fire drills, Disaster Drill, Bomb Threats & Infant Abduction Drills.
• Must be able to retain composure in stressful situations
• To handle all in-coming & out going calls in a timely Manner.
• Know how to use the flash system & how to put out pages and digital and voice messages on Pagers
• Know all emergency Procedures & who to call.
• Know where to look for information
• Help at whatever task is assigned to you at the board.
• Take orders from your Supervisor and report to her any information for which she is responsible.
