Schedule: Part-Time, 3:00PM-11:00PM, Monday-Friday and every other weekend

Location: Forsyth Medical Center

The Switchboard Operator operates the computerized switchboard console to monitor the fire panel, blood bank, oxygen panel and elevators. They will also implement all routing and emergency procedures.

• Experience:Minimum of one year experience as switchboard operator, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required):Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and all levels of authority. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be flexible and able to respond to changing priorities in a fast paced environment. Must demonstrate ability to type at least 30 wpm. Manual dexterity necessary to operate computerized switchboard console and keyboard. Ability to work alone during day, evening, and night. Ability to see and read. Must possess a clear, pleasant and professional telephone voice and manner. Ability to hear and understand phone calls.
