We are seeking a PBX Operator, also referred to as a Switchboard Operatoror Communication Operator in our communications department. The PBX Operator is responsible for answering the switchboard and overhead pages, greeting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate departments, while also monitoring hospital alarms and maintaining knowledge of the policies and procedures for all hospital emergency codes. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN as needed.
