• Familiarity with telephone communications technique and basic computer software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook; data entry skills.

Job description

This position functions under direct supervision and established protocols, Operates varioustelecommunications equipment including: Physician Answering Services, Paging System, PA System ,Fire Alarm Circuits, and other specialized circuits used for answering incoming calls, and monitoring equipment failures and security breaches.Education/Certifcation:High School Graduate or equivalentExperience:Must have a least one-year customer service experience in Telecommunications Customer Service where they supported a high call volumn.One or more years' experience in PBX operations and General Office PracticesFamiliarity with telephone communications technique and basic computer software. Entering, accessing and /or retrieving data will be a significant port of the job.The Operator will need to be able to use Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Outlook proficiently, FAX copier /printer.
