Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and monitor production machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role may involve equipment setup, calibration, and basic maintenance while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have at least a high school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to read drawings and follow detailed instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school graduate or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum experience: 2 years operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment; medical device experience preferred.
• Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety, environmental and quality requirements including FDA regulations and company procedures.
• Operates and monitors production machinery; helps with equipment setup and basic maintenance.
• Loads components and performs finishing operations as needed.
• Reads manuals and documents, ensures conformance to requirements, and completes documentation.
• Maintains and cleans machinery and participates in cross training and continuous improvement.

The primary purpose of the Machine Operator is to operate and monitor machines used in the production of the organization’s product. May be involved in equipment set-up, and preventative maintenance of more complex assignments and/or perform finish operations.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Applies proficiency within discipline, completes tasks and assignments and solves routine problems with some latitude for independent judgment.
• May be involved in equipment set-up and/or of more complex assignments.
• Loads component materials into product specific tools and/or performs finishing operations.
• Reads and follows operating manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Inspects parts visually with aid of microscope and/or dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements.
• Follows established documentation for product manufacturing.
• Completes required documentation.
• Cleans and maintains machinery, as necessary.
• Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
• Participates in team activity focusing on continuous improvement initiatives
• Performs other functions as required.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum Experience: A minimum of 2 years related work experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment; medical device experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Working knowledge of drawings and blueprints with ability to interpret information.
• Ability to work with small precision parts.
• Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
• Must have basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.

Hours for this position are Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm - 2:30am

Salary range for this position is $19.83 - $29.09 per hour with a 22% shift differential.
