Job summary

Penn Engineering is seeking a Swiss CNC Operator/Set Up/Programmer to join the Small Lot Shop in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will program, set up, and run Swiss CNC lathes, EDM, and overmold machines, using CAM software and direct machine interfaces to meet tight tolerances on precision components. This role requires 2+ years in CNC programming, setup, and operation and offers growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years CNC programming, setup and operation preferred.
• Associate degree or machining certification preferred.
• Proficient with CAM software, SPC tools, and data collection systems.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (JDE).

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and optimize Swiss CNC lathes, EDM, and overmold machines.
• Ensure high quality and safety standards in manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, and logistics teams.
• Train team members on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate production records and SPC data.
