Penn Engineering is seeking a Swiss CNC Operator/Set Up/Programmer to join our Small Lot Shop in Winston-Salem. You will program, set up, operate, and optimize Swiss CNC lathes, EDM, and overmold machines to produce precision components.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CNC programming and setup experience, familiarity with CAM software, and proficiency in data collection and SPC tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of CNC programming, setup, and operation, with a focus on Swiss-style lathes preferred.
• Familiarity with CAM software, SPC tools, and data collection systems.

Responsabilités

• Program, set up, operate, and optimize Swiss CNC lathes, EDM, and overmold machines to produce precision components.
• Troubleshoot and optimize machine setups and programs to improve quality, tool life, and cycle times.
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain records of production data, SPC charts, and job details in applicable systems.
• Assist in training team members on machine operation and safety protocols.
