Job summary

Penn Engineering Corp in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Swiss CNC Operator/Set Up/Programmer to program, set up, operate and optimize Swiss CNC lathes, EDM and overmold machines, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

The role demands strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; preferred associates or machining cert with 2+ years of CNC experience using CAM, SPC tools, and ERP systems

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; AS or machining cert preferred.
• 2+ years CNC programming/setup/operation, Swiss lathe preferred.
• Proficiency with CAM software, SPC and ERP systems (JDE).

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate Swiss CNC lathes, EDM and overmold machines.
• Optimize tooling, offsets, and CAM programs for part specs.
• Perform in-process inspection and maintain records (SPC, data).
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and logistics to ensure flow.
