Job summary

Velosity Brooklyn Park is seeking a Swiss Machinist II to support our manufacturing facility. You will set up and operate Swiss machines, monitor quality per the quality manual, and work on weekend day shift (Fri-Sun, 5:00am-5:00pm) with a 36-hour schedule and pay for 40 hours.

This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, and a quarterly bonus target. Proficiency in G and M code and ability to read blueprints required; prior medical device manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical device or component manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret QC data and perform offsets and tool changes.
• Proficient in G and M code with basic electronic systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss machines per work instructions and set up sheets.
• Monitor quality per the quality manual and SPC data.
• Train others on basic/intermediate production tasks when needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work area following 5S.
