Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers, a cooperative focused on delivering high-quality food products, seeks a Production Supervisor for the Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. The role oversees label and case production and shipping in a multi-shift setting, reporting to the Production Manager.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work swing shift (3pm-12am). PCP offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 2+ years of production management experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of label and casing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably in a union environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Available to work swing shift (3pm to 12am).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees on safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Coordinate production schedules with Production Manager and Plant Manager; adjust staffing as needed.
• Document daily production records and report shortages, overages, and losses.
• Manage changes to procedures due to personnel, equipment, or customer specs.
• Develop new methods to improve production results and maintain SOPs/GMPs.
