Job summary

Wet Noses in Monroe, WA, is seeking a Packer for swing shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) to support packing finished product and labeling procedures. The role involves moving products with a pallet jack, reporting food safety issues, and adhering to SQF/HACCP standards.

Qualifications include teamwork, quick learning in a fast-paced environment, reliability, and flexibility for extended hours. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Job description

Job Summary

At Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, the packer is responsible for packing finished product, which includes direct and indirect contact with food.

• Pack finished product into secondary packaging, then into cases, then onto a pallet.
• Applying labels to product.
• Using an automatic pallet jack, when warranted, to transport the full pallet from the stacking area to the shrink wrap machine and to the final storage/shipping area.
• Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action (Any member of management and/or supervisor).
• Wash hands prior to direct handling of food.
• Follows all SQF/HACCP protocol.

Shift: Swing Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30pm

Pay: $17.50 per hour
