Job summary

Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company in Monroe, WA is seeking a Packer for the night shift. This non-exempt, hourly position involves packing finished product, labeling, palletizing, and safe handling of food in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will report to the Packing Manager, work 10:30pm to 6:30am, earn $17.50 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift premium, and receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Very quick learner in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
• Persistent and dependable especially with attendance.
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment with flexibility to work extended hours.
• High degree of personal integrity and professionalism with solid business acumen.
• Language: Preferably bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product into secondary packaging, then into cases, then onto a pallet.
• Applying labels to product.
• Using an automatic pallet jack, when warranted, to transport the full pallet from the stacking area to the shrink wrap machine and to the final storage/shipping area.
• Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action (Any member of management and/or supervisor).
• Wash hands prior to direct handling of food.
• Follows all SQF/HACCP protocol.
